Based on the reviews here on Amazon.com and by the appearance and usability of this TV stand I went ahead and bought it. It arrived today and when I removed everything from the box and sorted it out, I realized that (1) there were no Instructions, or warranty; (2) there were no hardware to put the pieces together; and (3) 2 of the main wood parts were damaged.

As I had no info on the company who manufacturers this tv stand (nothing in the box), I called Amazon.com for help. Amazon.com offered to send a replacement to me in the hopes everything would be all there this time around. However I would have to return this one. That would be very difficult as the outside box was torn and all the pieces were in between styrofoam which were also broken in order to get to the pieces.

On top of all this, remember this stand weights about 110 pounds so opening the box as a single person required that the box be broken to get the items out.

If I only knew that there wasn't any hardware at all, no manual, and damaged pieces I wouldn't have opened it at all.

Amazon gave me the phone number of Walker Edison Furniture and I called them. They sent me a .pdf file with the instructions and the list of parts, stand hardware, and mounting hardware. They told me they would ship the missing and damaged items to me by UPS but that the parts wouldn't get to me for a couple of weeks.

I purchased this stand to arrive in 2 business days as the TV I ordered from Amazon will be here the first week of September. I wanted to have the stand put together when the TV got here.

I'm hoping Amazon.com can send a replacement and somehow send someone to package up the parts here and take them back.

This stand appears to be a really nice one and it's a shame my experience is so bad that I cannot give it more than 1 star. The manufacturer is the one responsible and making me wait 2 weeks is just too much. -- Damaged parts + Missing Hardware + No Instructions = Poor Review

Read many great reviews on this stand...I agree with all about quality. Only two items for me. Spacing of glass shelves is limited. Have a Dish DVR625 and a Sony BPR-460N BluRay stacked on lower shelf....they just "barely" fit with 1/4" clearance to the glass of the second shelf. Have Yamaha RX-V992 receiver on second shelf....this was a trick to get in as it will not fit height-wise through the front. Had to slide it in from the side. Also be aware, the depth of the shelves front to back are rather shallow....not enough room to plug in my modular speaker plugs from the back of the receiver. Had to remove modular plugs and use the integrated wire screw mounts.

Last issue is have a Klipsch KLF-C7 Center speaker to pair with my Klipsch KLF-30 mains. Was hoping to place the center speaker on top shelf of unit under TV, but not enough clearance with my 46" TV mounted at its highest mount adjustable setting to provided the 12" clearance needed for this center speaker on the top of the unit.

Other than very tight shelving fits and clearances, this is a very nice unit. Really looks nice with my Toshiba 46SV670U TV.

Would recommend....however, it you have room, you may opt to go for the 60" model, as you would have more room side to side for non-stacked components (My Dish box and Sony BluRay will not fit side by side on the 42" model, so stacking was my only option here.)

I searched extensively for a good looking and sturdy stand suitable for a Sharp 60" LCD TV. I wanted the stand to be no larger than necessary for the TV and associated cable box, DVD player, video game machines, etc. Also, I wanted rounded corners and the ability to rotate and tilt the screen when desired.

This stand met my needs and exceeded my expectations. The 60" LCD was mounted in its highest location (I used the "TV mount attached to the stand" configuration). There is 4.5" of clearance between the top glass shelf and the TV's lower edge, giving usable space for electronics or whatever. The widest dimension of the top glass shelf is 1" wider than the TV screen, so the size is a "match" in my opinion.

All parts were present, assembly was easy, the unit is strong, and the appearance is top notch. The glass shelves seem plenty strong enough for my needs.

I still need to arrange my cables better as they remain somewhat visible.

I was worried ordering furniture through Amazon (mostly about missing pieces and having to wait), but this was not the case. I received this stand on the next business day for only $3.99 shipping upgrade (Amazon Prime truly is exceptional). I put the stand together, by myself, in about 75 minutes or so. It was relatively simple and the directions were straight forward. I chose to use the mounted bracket to place my television on, and it has held my Sharp Aquos 42" LCD perfectly for nearly 6 months.

This stand looks like a $500, and if I were planning on buying another television soon, I'd buy another one of these stands to go with it in a heartbeat. You cannot beat the value of this stand, and the style of it is unmatched in this price range. Don't hesitate to buy this product, you will enjoy it! -- Excellent Stand
