The Parkchester End of Bed cabinet is beautifully finished in French Walnut with European inspired brass drawer pulls, featuring with Touchstone's quiet, smooth electro-mechanical lift. The Parkchester End of Bed model features a small footprint that is ideal for the foot of your bed, and will accommodate 32" -37" Plasma and LCD TV's, as well as and many 42" models. The cabinet placed at the end of the bed hides your flat screen TV from view until you're ready to view it from your bed. That's when the TV can be raised using Touchstone's lift, using the simple IR remote. Since the cabinet doubles as a settee, you can free up wall or bureau space and with the TV at the foot of the bed, a smaller TV gives you the viewing experience of a much larger TV.

We ordered this item and are very pleased with it. It is very well made and attractive and the lift mechanism is quiet and very well designed. We did have a couple of issues. A 42" television may not fit in it- check exact dimensions. We were able to relocate the power strip from the side of the cabinet and then the TV would fit. Also, this model doesn't come with a shelf, so if you need to add components where you have to be able to access them (like DVD,VCR, etc) then a different model would be better for you. The company supplying this item (Media Supply) was very helpful in resolving our issues. -- Very nice item
